Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of KijiWelfare (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

1. The Service

1.1. KijiWelfare provides the features described on its own pages. We may add, change or withdraw features as the Service develops; where a change materially reduces something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.

1.2. Some features may depend on third-party services. Where they do, their availability is outside our control.

2. Your account

2.1. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.

2.2. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. Accounts are for the person or organisation they were opened for and may not be shared or transferred without our agreement.

3. Acceptable use

3.1. Use the Service lawfully. In particular, do not:

• (i) attempt to breach, probe or circumvent its security;
• (ii) disrupt the Service or degrade it for other users;
• (iii) store or transmit unlawful, infringing or malicious material;
• (iv) access data belonging to others without authorisation;
• (v) resell or redistribute the Service unless we have agreed in writing.

3.2. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you use the Service.

4. Your content

4.1. The information and material you put into the Service (your "Content") remain yours.

4.2. You grant us only the permissions needed to host, process, back up, transmit and display your Content so that we can operate the Service for you. We claim no other rights over it.

4.3. You are responsible for having the right to supply the Content you upload.

5. Personal data

How personal data is handled, and the rights you have over it, are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Fees

Where the Service or any part of it is charged for, the applicable fees, billing period and taxes are those stated at the point of purchase or in your separate agreement with us. Charges that remain unpaid may lead to suspension.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and to protect your Content, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party failures and events beyond our reasonable control may cause interruption.

8. Suspension and termination

8.1. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

8.2. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where the law requires it, or where continued use poses a risk to the Service or to other users.

8.3. On termination you may export your Content for a reasonable period, unless the law requires otherwise.

9. Liability

9.1. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9.2. Subject to clause 9.1, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Where a revision is significant we will give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept the revised terms.
